In this special podcast episode, I am honoured to be joined by first-generation Holocaust survivor Vera Sharav.

Never Again is Now Global
Never Again is Now Global is ambitious film project is the brainchild of Holocaust survivor and human rights activist Vera Sharav.

The series addresses the many parallels between the Holocaust and the recent three years of lockdowns and coerced medical procedures.

“Each one-hour episode focuses on recent testimonies by Holocaust survivors and their descendants who discuss comparisons between the early repressive stages under the Nazi regime that culminated in the Holocaust and global COVID-19 policies,” describes Sharav.

Dan Fournier’s Review of the Never Again is Now Global docuseries
After having watched the 5-part docuseries, I was really moved by its historical content, the striking parallels which seamlessly align with the Covid-19 Pandemic, and with its overall message.
I therefore decided to write a review of the series in which I examined about two to three claims from each episode of the docuseries in order to further investigate their veracity. The end result was made into a free 188-page eBook: The Covid-19 – Holocaust Comparison, A Review of the docuseries Never Again is Now Global.

The White Rose
The White Rose was a resistance group comprised of courageous Germans who opposed Hitler, the Nazis, and their destructive policies during the height of WWII.

There’s also the 1982 film The White Rose.
The book I referenced during our talk is called The White Rose, Munich 1942-1943 by Inge School which is a translation from German by the sister of Hans and Sophie.
Here are some key passages from the book (note: the first one is the one I quoted in the interview):
“Goethe speaks of the Germans as a tragic nation, like the Jews and the Greeks. But these days, Germans appear more like a shallow, irresolute herd of opportunists who have had all the marrow sucked from their bones. Now that they have been robbed of their essence, they are willing to be pursued to their destruction. This is how it appears, but it is not so. Rather, every individual has been jailed in an intellectual prison after having been slowly, deceptively, and systematically raped. Only as he lies there in chains is he aware of his doom. A few recognized the pending perdition [for what it was]. The reward for their heroic exhortations was death. There is more to say about the fate of these people.” - Leaflet 1
“If everyone waits until the other man makes a start, the messengers of avenging Nemesis will come steadily closer; then even the last victim will have been cast senselessly into the maw of the insatiable demon. Therefore every individual, conscious of his responsibility as a member of Christian and Western civilization, must defend himself as best he can at this late hour, he must work against the scourges of mankind, against fascism and any similar system of totalitarianism.” - Leaflet 1
“The German people slumber on in their dull, stupid sleep and encourage these fascist criminals, they give them the opportunity to carry on their depredations; and of course they do so. Is this a sign that the Germans are brutalized in their simplest human feelings, that no chord within them cries out at the sight of such deeds, that they have sunk into a fatal consciousness from which they will never, never awake? It seems to be so; and will certainly be so, if the German does not at last start up out of his stupor, if he does not protest wherever and whenever he can against this clique of criminals, if he shows no sympathy for these hundreds of thousands of victims. He must evidence not only sympathy; no, much more: a sense of complicity in guilt. For through his apathetic behavior he gives these evil men the opportunity to act as they do; he tolerates this “government” which has taken upon itself such an infinitely great burden of guilt; indeed, he himself is to blame for the fact that it came about at all!” - Leaflet 2
The parallels with these passages and what is happening today are eerily ominous, tragically confirming that we have indeed learned nothing from history; and, that the masses are apathetically muddling along aimlessly and ignorantly in a zombified state of stupor.

Redefining antisemitism (United States H.R. 6090 bill)
During the interview, I made mention of how the United States bill H.R. 6090 would redefine antisemitism (to that prescribed by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, or IHRA).
