Show Notes

Les Filles du Roi (the King’s Daughters/Girls)

At some point during the interview, Bethan talked about the quality and strength of women in the 1600s when Quebec was being built. I asked her if she had heard about Les Filles du Roi (The King’s Daughters/Girls).

King Louis XIV’s “daughters” consisted of approximately 800+ French young women who (between between 1663 and 1673) immigrated to New France to help support the Frenchmen there who were agriculturalising and developing the land and further boost the local population.

It is said that there are 9 chances out of 10 that if a person in Quebec has a French name, he or she is likely to be a descendent of the King’s Daughters.

For those who can understand French, here is a wonderful historical account of les “filles du roi” by Mrs. Danielle Pinsonneault from la Société d’histoire des Filles du Roy (video): Les Filles du Roy (1663-1673). It’s a fascinating listen!

Climate Lockdowns coming to Quebec? (and Bill 50)

During the interview, I asked Bethan about her experience living in the province of Quebec during the Covid-19 Scamdemic – particularly with regards to the harsh lockdowns and curfews imposed by the government.

I then mentioned that Bill 50 could actually set the groundwork for much more severe lockdown measures in the event of a future pandemic or crisis.

I mentioned my article about Bill 50 and this egregious project.

I noted that should Bill 50 pass and become law, it would grant the following extremely egregious powers to the provincial authorities for periods of up to 30 days in the event of a “crisis” (which is, itself, broadly defined):

  • impose harsh shutdowns;

  • order the closure of establishments, close roads & highways;

  • shutter water, electricity;

  • prevent homeowners and businesses from using wood stoves;

  • force people to “evacuate” in designated shelters or places of “confinement.”

This is not conjecture, I have cited the respective texts from the bill in French and presented the translated versions of the clauses in my article.

Needless to say, these measures, should they become law and be imposed, would directly infringe upon our Constitutional and Charter (both the Canadian Charter and the Quebec Charter) rights and freedoms.

It appears that Bill 50 (click the link for the full text of the bill in English) is positioned to become law – thanks in large part to ignorant Quebecers whore are either indifferent or oblivious to this proposed, unconstitutional and over-reaching tyranny.

Digital IDs & PIBs (Personal Information Banks) in Canada

During our talk, I mentioned a very important tweet (archived here) by Canadian influencer Theo Fleury:

In a nutshell, Personal Information Banks (PIBs) indicate the extent to which various Canadian government institutions collect and store unreasonable amounts of personal information on its citizens:

In a post I made about this affair titled Recommended: One of the most Powerful Interviews you will ever watch: Theo Fleury, I also warned of the dangers on how all our personal and private medical information can be shared with authorities such as Health Canada and how this outfit is currently conducting secret negotiations with the World Health Organization (WHO) and their International Health Regulations (IHRs).

Quebec Law 25

Both myself and my guest being Quebecers, I talked about something called Quebec Law 25 (click here for French) which is concerned with protecting citizens’ private information and ensuring that consent is given before that information is shared.

In English it’s titled an ‘Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information’.

So, it is highly relevant to the PIBs discussed earlier in that the federal gov’t has been collecting vast amounts of information that is likely being stored and shared without our consent.

Law 25 is inspired by the concept of privacy by design with a feature called Confidentiality by Default. In other words, it requires organisations and businesses to adhere to strict privacy rules and obtain the consent of users to collect and share personal information.

Businesses must provide an opt-in mechanism for the collection of personal information and also inform “data subjects” when their personal information may be transferred outside of Quebec. They must permit consumers to withdraw their consent.

What many don’t realise is that government agencies share personal information with 3rd parties (businesses) about your financials, health & vaccination status, shopping habits, naughty behaviours online, etc. So, Law 25 can, supposedly, add a layer of protection for Quebecers.

Here are some additional resources regarding Quebec Law 25:

Bethan Nodwell’s Trinity Productions

Bethan talked about her Trinity Productions business venture (from around the 1:34:49 mark) whereby they invite renowned guest speakers to speak at organised events in Canada.

Some of those guests have included the likes of Christine Anderson (a European MEP), Vera Sharav (a first-generation Holocaust survivor who has been very outspoken during the Covid-19 Scamdemic), and Eva Vlaardingerbroek.

Here are some photos that Bethan shared with me:
