A beautiful poem. Ray McGovern taught me of it. I wanted to thank the author. Thank you, for this poem. Thank you.

Sadly, I have yet to locate the original artist of this poem.

“…in war, truth is the first casualty…”

~ Aeschylus

i have to wonder where this enthusiasm was too, all the 5 or so decade of the ayatollahs & their murderous regime. the west has always known abt it, raged abt it but done shit abt it, for those decades.

but how dare this president actually do something abt it?! oh i get it: orange-man-bad-bad-orange-man. absolutely STUNNING.

having lived under authoritarian regimes, lived in a war zone, i can assure the rest of the world: no fun there. no games there.

again, what are we saying??? what are we doing???

Thank you for posting "Sweet Little Girls of Minab". I heard it read yesterday by Ray McGovern and had dissiculty finding the complete poem.

Currently separated by a fence. Why were the girls in school?

Why were they in a school at a military base? Human shields?

Every Dem comment is stupid.

The girls were in an all girls school on a military base separated by a at a time when all other schools were closed.

And here we are again, caught in the visual propaganda squeeze. Why running a war by civilian outrage farming is a bad idea. This was not intentional. It was the oldest most banal cause possible: a targeting error. Someone directing the CENTCOM attacks used an old piece of intel. Or possibly it was a deliberate use of military buildings adjacent to a legitimate target, to hold children, as isn’t new in Iran’s proxy terrorist network. These kids would have been the families of IRGC personnel: harm to them will strengthen their fury and hurt the US more. The school building, it turns out, had been a building on an IRGC military base until about 7-9 years ago. It was walled off, watchtowers removed, playgrounds and new entrances installed according to successive satellite images. Once again the US shoots itself in the foot-or Iran made sure it did.

One thing: when you go to war against a group which idolizes suicide as the means of success-including the sacrifice of their own children and exploitation of that in the cause-don’t be surprised when it happens.

If you thought what happened under Hitler was bad wrt the lengths evil will go to triumph-that was a prelude to this. And if you haven’t the stomach for it-then accept your eventual enslavement to them.

They’re all-in. They know too many of us aren’t.

Keep lying! The double tap proves malice aforethought.

US didn't kill those girls. Iran did. Why did any of those parents send their girls to school? They knew bombs were being dropped. Look at those poor girls. So young, having their hair covered already.

SaHiB's avatar

They were on their way to pick them up. The Zioliar contingent is out in force.

Unfortunately, as happens in every war, it was a mistake. A targeting error. Old information. The compound had been part of the adjacent IRGC base sometime until about 7-9 years ago, when that building and adjacent grounds were walled off, watchtowers removed, playgrounds and the school installed. Although it’s fair to ask why a girls’ school was put right on the grounds of a military base used by the most brutal pillars of the regime’s power. Maybe they thought they would never be attacked. Maybe they thought it would fend off an attack—same as using schools to launch rockets from Gaza.

You are some trooper. You are accomplished. My hats off to YOU :-)

Well, thank you. I was just trying to do the best I could as I had been raised to.

Well done. DO you think that Trump's mind has been breeched by advanced mind control via Mossad? His complete reversal is baffling.

Dan Fournier's avatar

Hi Anthony. Who knows for sure. I don't think it is a "complete reversal," as he has been on Israel/Satanyahu/Zionist/Chabad side for a very long time (years) already.

The main thing is that he is surrounded and advised by Zionists and Neocons. Plus, nobody gets into any meetings with Orange Man without the approval of his White House Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles - a Big Pharma shill & Zionist whore who purposely does not let anyone in who opposes Israel or who has negative views against them, imo.

And as my former podcast guest Dr. Paul Craig Roberts use to say:

Presidents don't run things!

How fooled we were to fall for Trump’s promises of peace in the world. I wonder where he took theatre classes, he’s a darn good actor, darn good liar.

He definitely deserves an Oscar for this performance:

Specifically look at this:

The Ear “wound”, the [non-]bloody hand & Trump’s Lies

The commonly held belief is that the second bullet grazed Trump’s ear, causing a bloody flesh wound.

It was divine intervention that Trump had moved his head at that very moment, many have argued.

We know from video footage that Trump did use his right hand to touch his right ear (or the right side of his head) as the first two shots were fired just before he ducked under the podium and was covered by his Secret Service detail where he was speaking.

Yet, when watching footage of the moment Trump brought his right hand back down after touching his right ear, we can clearly see that NO BLOOD was on it.

This is in stark contradiction to Trump’s own statement about that very moment. Trump stated, verbatim [with emphasis added]:

“When I heard a loud whizzing sound and felt something hit me really really hard on my right ear. I said to myself: Wow what was that? It can only be a bullet. And moved my right hand to my ear, brought it down. My hand was covered with blood. Just absolutely blood all over the place.”

“My hand was covered with blood. Just absolutely blood all over the place.”

Really Donald?

Looking at the video footage of that very moment suggests otherwise. There is NO BLOOD.

War is an unfortunate fact within humankind's existence

Dan Fournier's avatar

Indeed. We are the lesser species on this planet. Animals are far superior. They don't kill for fun, as we do.

Beekeeper's avatar

Very true, yet our arrogance still prevails, so sad .
